Textured and sparkly, this earthy shade exudes warmth.

A strong base colour that is warmer than Liquorice or Storm Grey, neutral brown tones can be the perfect colour backdrop for any design style. Layer with earthy neutral tones for a deep rich palette. Or add to brights for a sophisticated yet timeless appeal.

We have put together three schemes using Russet as a base, each offers their own take on this earthy neutral.

Our first scheme offers contrasting cool tones of Lagoon Blue against the warm neutrals of Russet and Linen. Reminiscent of coastal schemes with brown leather, dark wood and sea blues but given a contemporary twist with Fermob's mastery of tone and texture.

Warm Coastal - Russet with Linen and Lagoon Blue

In our next scheme Russet is enhanced when contrast with crisp Cotton White and bright, bold Capucine. A sophisticated scheme that suggests cocktails in contemporary courtyards or social gatherings exuding elegance and fun.

Contemporary - Russet with Cotton White and Capucine

And finally, my personal favourite, warm, earthy and rustic. Conjuring up images of vine draped walled gardens, open outdoor fires, pebble courtyards and woodland escapes.

Timeless - Russet with Nutmeg and Rosemary

Three stunning schemes featuring Russet that can easily translate to any of the Fermob collections. In my ideal world I'd have a Bellevie Armchair and Sofa in Rosemary with a coffee table and side table in Russet for relaxed seating. Maybe a small Bistro setting in Nutmeg and Russet for coffee or an afternoon vino and for larger dining a Luxembourg setting in all three colours from the earthy Timeless scheme. That should cover all my outdoor living needs for now.
