Colour has a profound affect on our emotions and sense of well being, it has the power to influence the way we feel in a space and how often we use that space. This applies inside and out.
Our gardens, courtyards, patios and balconies need to draw us out. Provide inviting spaces to relax, disconnect and reconnect, spaces where we want to be, quite spaces or fun entertaining spaces. Choosing a colour scheme that achieves this can be a daunting prospect, and offering outdoor furniture in 23 colours makes it even more challenging.
To help narrow down the options we have selected 10 of our favourite colours for the coming spring/summer. Our 2016 crop of Fermob's colour chart offers opportunities to create schemes that are relaxing, on-trend, contemporary, fun, tranquil, vibrant, traditional or retro. The reduced palette helps make colour mixing easier for those less confident with colour but still offers plenty of spectrum for unique personality filled schemes.
Our base palette for the season includes cotton white, liquorice, nutmeg and storm grey. Important, strong colours in their own right these base colours also make a great starting point for developing an interesting scheme.

We then have layers of rich, earthy tones, colours to add depth and wamth through all seasons.
Rosemary, Plum, Chilli and Paprika.
And finally a couple of brights to round out our preferences for this season.
